Your Symcod W101M ships with Light Engine already installed. No downloads, no installation, no setup commands. Just power on.

Getting Started with Symcod W101M

Step 1: Physical Setup

  1. Unpack your Symcod W101M device
  2. Connect power adapter (included)
  3. Connect ethernet cable to your router (for initial setup)
  4. Press power button
  5. Device boots in 30 seconds - touchscreen lights up

Step 2: Touchscreen Setup Wizard

The setup wizard guides you through 6 simple steps. Takes about 10 minutes:

Tap "Start Setup"

Connect to WiFi (or use ethernet)

Farm Info
Enter farm name and location

Certifications
Select certifications (USDA Organic, GlobalGAP, etc.)

Hardware
System scans for sensors automatically

Complete
Dashboard launches automatically
What You Need

Before starting setup, have ready:

  1. WiFi password (if not using ethernet)
  2. Farm name (example: "Oakwood Farms")
  3. Certification info (if your farm has certifications)

Accessing Your Dashboard

After setup completes, access your dashboard three ways:

On the Symcod Touchscreen

Dashboard opens automatically on the device screen. Use it like an iPad.

From Your Computer or Tablet

Open any browser and go to:

Via Cloud Portal

Access your farm from anywhere at greenreachgreens.com

First Tasks After Setup

Choose a Recipe
Dashboard → Recipes → Pick from 60+ validated crops

Create First Tray
Dashboard → Trays → Add Tray → Select crop and seed date

Print QR Labels
Tools → QR Generator → Generate labels for tracking

Record Harvest
Tap tray → Record Harvest → Enter weight

Light Engine includes research-validated recipes for:

  • Leafy Greens: Butterhead Lettuce, Romaine, Arugula, Kale, Spinach, Bok Choy, Swiss Chard
  • Herbs: Basil (multiple varieties), Cilantro, Parsley, Mint, Dill, Oregano
  • Specialty: Microgreens (15+ varieties), Edible Flowers, Cherry Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Strawberries

Each recipe includes lighting schedules, temperature ranges, humidity targets, and growth stage transitions.
