How You Get Paid

Every delivery you complete earns you money. Here's how it works.

Every Delivery

Base Pay

You earn a base amount for each delivery you complete. This is set when you're onboarded and is visible to you before you accept any route.

Extra Earnings

Cold Chain Bonus

If you're certified in cold chain handling (keeping produce at the right temperature during transport), you earn a bonus on top of your base pay for each delivery.

Yours to Keep

Tips

Any tips from buyers go directly to you. GreenReach never takes a cut of your tips.

When do I get paid? Your completed deliveries are tracked in the driver payout system. You can see the status of each payment (pending or paid) and export your records anytime for your own bookkeeping. Payout details and your current pay rate are provided during onboarding.

How GreenReach Compares

GreenReach Typical Meal Delivery Apps
Pay per trip Higher per delivery — wholesale orders are larger Lower per trip — small, single-meal orders
Bonuses Cold chain bonus on every qualifying delivery Occasional promotions during peak hours
Tips 100% yours, no platform cut 100% yours
Delivery windows Extended hours — morning harvests through evening drop-offs Mostly lunch and dinner rushes
Wear on vehicle Fewer stops per shift — bulk wholesale routes Many short trips, frequent stops
Exclusivity None — work other apps at the same time None

Combine GreenReach With Other Delivery Work

GreenReach drivers are independent contractors with no exclusivity requirement. You can deliver for Skip The Dishes, Uber Eats, DoorDash, or any other service alongside GreenReach.

GreenReach wholesale deliveries run on extended windows — starting with early morning farm pickups and running through evening drop-offs. That means you can fill the gaps between meal-rush hours with higher-paying wholesale runs, or schedule GreenReach routes around your existing delivery work.

More per trip, fewer stops, and hours that complement other gig work — that's the GreenReach difference.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much can I earn delivering with GreenReach?

You earn a base pay for each delivery you complete, plus a cold chain bonus if you're certified in temperature-controlled transport. Tips from buyers are always yours to keep. Your exact pay rate is provided during onboarding and shown to you before you accept any route. You can track all your earnings and export your pay records from the driver dashboard.

Do I need prior delivery experience?

No. We provide comprehensive onboarding including food safety training, app orientation, and delivery best practices. Prior experience is welcomed but not required — what matters most is reliability and a commitment to quality service.

Can I deliver on a bicycle or e-bike?

Yes! We support bicycle and e-bike deliveries for orders within shorter distances. You'll need an insulated delivery bag (provided by GreenReach) and the ability to carry produce boxes safely. No driver's licence is needed for non-motorized vehicles.

What is the background check process?

We request a Criminal Record Check (CRC) through an accredited Canadian police service and review your driving abstract. This process typically takes 5–10 business days. We cover the cost of the background check for approved applicants.

What food safety training is required?

All drivers complete a GreenReach food safety orientation (approximately 1 hour online). If you don't already have a Safe Food Handling certificate, you'll have 30 days after approval to complete one through an Ontario-recognized provider. GreenReach provides resources and can reimburse the certification cost.

What areas does GreenReach deliver to?

Delivery coverage is based on farm-configured zones and active dispatch capacity. Service areas can change by season, farm participation, and operational requirements.

How long does the application process take?

Most applications are reviewed within 3–5 business days. Once approved, you can complete online onboarding and start delivering within a week. The background check may add an additional 5–10 business days depending on processing times.
