Applies to all suppliers listing on the GreenReach Marketplace. Last reviewed 2026.
GreenReach connects growers (buyers) with vetted suppliers of inputs and equipment — seeds, nutrients, grow media, packaging, lab supplies, lights, sensors, and climate hardware. You list and price your own catalogue; GreenReach handles discovery, checkout, payment, and buyer relationships, and earns the difference between your wholesale price and the retail price you set.
1. How the GreenReach Marketplace works
As a supplier you create an account, list your products with photos, specifications, and prices, and set your shipping and return policies. Once GreenReach approves your account, your live listings appear to growers across the network. When a grower orders, you fulfil and ship the goods directly; GreenReach collects payment from the grower, pays you your wholesale price through Stripe, and keeps the retail-minus-wholesale difference as its marketplace fee. There is no separate commission percentage and no listing fee.
2. Eligibility & onboarding
Registration. Provide a valid business email, a business name, and a contact. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information.
Review & approval. New accounts are reviewed by GreenReach before any product can be sold. Approval confirms your business details and product categories are appropriate for the network.
Payout setup. Before your listings can be purchased, you complete identity and bank verification through Stripe (our payments partner). You cannot receive orders until payouts are enabled on your connected account.
Device-class data. Suppliers of lights, sensors, and climate hardware provide the technical specifications the Light Engine uses (for example spectrum, PPFD, channels, and supported protocols) so growers can evaluate and integrate the equipment.
3. Listing & pricing
You control your catalogue. You add, edit, publish, and unpublish your own products. Listings publish live; GreenReach may unpublish a listing that breaches these policies and will record the reason.
Wholesale and retail price. For each product you set a wholesale price (what you are paid) and a retail price (what the grower pays). GreenReach keeps the difference. Volume discounts you offer are funded by you and never reduce the GreenReach margin below its floor.
Accuracy. Descriptions, specifications, images, units, and availability must be accurate and kept current. Out-of-stock items must be marked accordingly.
Delivery pricing. You set flat delivery fees per region; GreenReach passes delivery charges through to you.
4. Fulfilment commitments
You are the merchant who ships the goods. You agree to:
Declare an honest handling time (business days from order to shipment) and ship within it.
Provide a tracking number and carrier when an order ships, so the grower can follow delivery.
Package goods appropriately for safe transit, and meet any cold-chain or hazardous-materials requirements that apply to your products.
Keep your declared ship-from location, order cut-off, and availability current.
Confirming and shipping orders promptly, and entering tracking, is how growers and GreenReach trust the marketplace. Persistent late or unfulfilled orders may lead to suspension.
5. Returns & warranty
You publish your own return policy — whether returns are accepted, the return window, and any conditions — and your warranty terms where applicable.
Your published policy is the policy that applies to a grower's order. You honour it in good faith.
Goods that arrive damaged, defective, or materially not-as-described are your responsibility to make right (replacement, repair, or refund), regardless of your general return stance.
Refunds are processed back through GreenReach's payment partner; the corresponding payout adjustment is reflected on your account.
6. Payments & payouts
Payments are processed by Stripe. GreenReach charges the grower and routes your wholesale amount to your connected account as a destination payment, retaining its marketplace margin as the application fee.
Payouts follow your Stripe payout schedule. You can view your connection and payout status from your supplier dashboard.
You are responsible for your own taxes, remittances, and any regulatory registrations applicable to your business and products.
7. Content & product standards
List only products you are legally entitled to sell and that comply with applicable laws and regulations.
No counterfeit, recalled, unsafe, or prohibited goods. No misleading claims, including unsupported performance or yield claims.
Images and copy must be your own or properly licensed.
Controlled or regulated inputs must meet all licensing and labelling requirements in the destination region.
8. Seller of record & liability
You are the seller of record for your products. GreenReach acts as the marketplace and payment facilitator that connects you with growers; it does not take title to your goods. You are responsible for your products' quality, safety, compliance, fulfilment, and the policies you publish. You agree to indemnify GreenReach against claims arising from your products, listings, or fulfilment, to the extent permitted by law.
9. Account status, suspension & termination
Accounts move through pending → active, and may be suspended or rejected for policy breaches, fulfilment failures, or risk concerns. Suspension removes your live listings from the grower catalogue.
You may close your account at any time; open orders must still be fulfilled or refunded.
GreenReach may update these policies as the marketplace matures; material changes will be communicated to active suppliers.
Supplier FAQ
How much does it cost to sell on GreenReach?
There is no listing fee and no flat commission. GreenReach earns the difference between the wholesale price you set and the retail price you set. You decide your own margin.
When do I get paid?
Payments run through Stripe. Once an order is placed and paid, your wholesale amount is routed to your connected Stripe account and pays out on your Stripe payout schedule. You must complete Stripe identity and bank verification before you can receive orders.
How will I know when I've sold something?
You receive an order notification and can view every order — its items, ship-to details, and status — from the Orders area of your supplier dashboard. You confirm the order, ship it, and enter the tracking number there.
Who ships the product?
You do. You are the merchant of record and ship directly to the grower within your declared handling time, then enter the carrier and tracking number so the grower can follow delivery.
How do returns work?
You publish your own return policy — accepted or not, the return window, and conditions — and it is shown to growers before they order. You honour your published policy. Damaged, defective, or not-as-described goods are always your responsibility to make right.
What do I need to provide for lights, sensors, or HVAC?
Device products carry the same specifications the Light Engine uses — for lights that includes wattage, PPF/PPFD, spectrum, channels, and dimming; for sensors what they measure, units, and sampling; for HVAC capacity, stages, and control. The supplier portal asks for exactly these when you choose a device type.
Can my systems integrate directly?
GreenReach issues scoped API keys for catalogue integration. Keys are provisioned by GreenReach for your account; contact us through your dashboard to request one.
Why was my account or a listing unpublished?
Listings publish live and are moderated reactively. If a listing or account is paused, GreenReach records the reason and you can see it on your dashboard. Correct the issue and your listings can be restored.
